West Virginia High School Lacrosse - Preston drops to Buckhannon-Upshur

In Wednesday's non-league contest, the Buckhannon-Upshur Buccaneers (Buckhannon, WV) lacrosse squad routed the host Preston Knights (Kingwood, WV), by a count of 14-4.

Coming up next, the Buccaneers confront the St. Albans Red Dragons (St. Albans, WV) in a WVSLA -DII West contest, on Friday, April 12. Buckhannon-Upshur will attempt to advance on its 2-4 season record. The Red Dragons enter the contest with a 2-3 record after their 18-4 non-league loss to Morgantown (Morgantown, WV).

The Knights now own a 0-5 record. They play next when they host Jefferson County for a WVSLA -DII East contest on Saturday, April 13. Preston will confront a Wild squad coming off a 8-5 non-league loss to Spring Mills (Martinsburg, WV). The Wild record now stands at 3-6.
