In Wednesday's league contest, the Bremen Lions (Bremen, IN) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Mishawaka Marian Knights (Mishawaka, IN), by a margin of 6-1.
With the triumph, Bremen moves its record to 4-1 on the year. The Lions host South Central (Union Mills, IN) to play the Satellites in a non-league contest on Saturday, April 13. The Satellites come into the contest with a record of 4-0.
In their next game, the Knights play the South Bend St. Joseph Huskies (South Bend, IN) in a Northern Indiana contest, on Monday, April 15. Mishawaka Marian will attempt to move on its 1-1 season record.

After allowing a pair of doubles in the first giving Marian a 1-0 lead, the Bremen Girl’s Softball team scored one run in the first inning, then took advantage of several errors and scored four runs in the 3rd & finally added one run in the 4th enroute to a 6-1 victory
Elian Grubbs had a pair of singles & scored two runs, Chrissy Grabowski had two hits & 2 RBI, Delainey Neher had a pair of doubles, scored once & added two RBI, and Mickie Shively drew a pair of walks & scored two runs to pace the Lions.
Grabowski picked up her 4th win of the year from the circle allowing 1 run, on 4 hits, striking out 9 and only walking one.
