Highland Bulldogs (Palmdale, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Canyon Cowboys (Canyon Country, CA), 7-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Bulldogs now own a 11-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Antelope Valley for a Golden challenge on Thursday, April 11. Highland will face a Antelopes squad coming off a 16-0 league loss to Highland (Palmdale, CA). The Antelopes record now stands at 0-10.

With the loss, Canyon falls to 9-10 on the campaign. The Cowboys travel to Vasquez (Acton, CA) to face the Mustangs in a non-league challenge on Friday, April 12. The Mustangs enter the challenge with a record of 8-9. Vasquez lost 5-3 in their recent non-league challenge against Santa Paula (Santa Paula, CA)
