The Colleton County Cougars softball team scored 18 runs and limited the visiting Hilton Head Island Seahawks to 3 in the Cougars league triumph on Wednesday.

With the triumph, Colleton County moves its record to 6-3 on the year. The Cougars host Lucy Beckham (Mt. Pleasant, SC) to clash with the Bengals in a AAAA Region 7 game on Friday, April 12. The Bengals come into the game with a record of 5-6. Lucy Beckham lost 6-0 in their recent league game against James Island (Charleston, SC)

In their next game, the Seahawks clash with the May River Sharks (Bluffton, SC) in a AAAA Region 7 game, on Friday, April 12. Hilton Head Island will attempt to move on its 0-9 season record. The Sharks come into the game with a 6-7 record after their 13-3 league win over Bluffton (Bluffton, SC).
