Tahoma Bears (Maple Valley, WA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Decatur Golden Gators (Federal Way, WA), 9-3 in a league challenge.
The Bears now sport a 8-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Auburn for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 16. Tahoma will face a Trojans squad coming off a 27-21 non-league loss to Mt. Rainier (Des Moines, WA). The Trojans record now stands at 1-5.
With the loss, Decatur falls to 7-2 on the campaign. The Golden gators travel to Lincoln (Seattle, WA) to face the Lynx in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 16. The Lynx enter the challenge with a record of 7-2. Lincoln won 11-8 in their recent non-league challenge against Ellensburg (Ellensburg, WA)
