Tri-Valley Vikings (Downs, IL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Fisher Bunnies (Fisher, IL), 15-2 in a league challenge.

The Vikings now own a 6-6 record. They take the field next when they host Lexington for a Heart of Illinois challenge on Thursday, April 11. Tri-Valley will battle a Minutemen squad coming off a 6-5 league loss to Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley (Gibson City, IL). The Minutemen record now stands at 6-9.

With the loss, Fisher falls to 4-7 on the campaign. The Bunnies host LeRoy (LeRoy, IL) to battle the Panthers in a Heart of Illinois challenge on Friday, April 12. The Panthers enter the challenge with a record of 14-1. LeRoy won 15-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Iroquois West (Gilman, IL)
