Naperville North Huskies (Naperville, IL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Geneva Vikings (Geneva, IL), 16-6 in a non-league challenge.

The Huskies now own a 4-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Naperville Central for a DuPage Valley challenge on Thursday, April 11. Naperville North will face a Redhawks squad coming off a 10-5 non-league loss to Plainfield North (Plainfield, IL). The Redhawks record now stands at 4-3.

With the loss, Geneva falls to 0-5 on the campaign. The Vikings host Wheaton-Warrenville South (Wheaton, IL) to face the Tigers in a DuKane challenge on Friday, April 12. The Tigers enter the challenge with a record of 8-2. Wheaton-Warrenville South lost 1-0 in their recent non-league challenge against West Chicago (West Chicago, IL)
