The Granite Falls Tigers softball team scored 15 runs and limited the visiting Vashon Island Pirates to 3 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Wednesday.

With the triumph, Granite Falls moves its record to 3-3 on the year. The Tigers travel to South Whidbey (Langley, WA) to clash with the Falcons in a 1A Emerald Sound game on Friday, April 12. The Falcons come into the game with a record of 4-2. South Whidbey lost 8-2 in their recent non-league game against Meridian (Bellingham, WA)

In their next game, the Pirates clash with the Cascade Christian Cougars (Puyallup, WA) in a 1A Nisqually game, on Monday, April 15. Vashon Island will attempt to move on its 0-2 season record. The Cougars come into the game with a 4-4 record after their 16-1 league win over Seattle Christian (SeaTac, WA).
