Pontiac Indians (Pontiac, IL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Herscher Tigers (Herscher, IL), 13-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Indians now sport a 5-4 record. They take the field next when they host Illinois Valley Central for a Illini Prairie challenge on Friday, April 12. Pontiac will face a Grey Ghosts squad coming off a 9-5 non-league loss to Bureau Valley (Manlius, IL). The Grey Ghosts record now stands at 9-7.

With the loss, Herscher falls to 7-8 on the campaign. The Tigers host Gardner-South Wilmington (Gardner, IL) to face the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Friday, April 12. The Panthers enter the challenge with a record of 4-5.
