The Hoffman Estates Hawks softball team scored 7 runs and limited the host Rolling Meadows Mustangs to 6 in the Hawks league triumph on Wednesday.

With the triumph, Hoffman Estates improves its record to 2-9 on the year. The Hawks host Prospect (Mt. Prospect, IL) to clash with the Knights in a Mid-Suburban East game on Friday, April 12. The Knights come into the game with a record of 3-5. Prospect lost 8-1 in their recent league game against Palatine (Palatine, IL)

In their next game, the Mustangs clash with the Glenbard West Hilltoppers (Glen Ellyn, IL) in a non-league game, on Thursday, April 11. Rolling Meadows will attempt to improve on its 4-4 season record. The Hilltoppers come into the game with a 5-4 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Hinsdale South (Darien, IL).
