Licking Valley Panthers (Newark, OH) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Northridge Vikings (Johnstown, OH), 16-2 in a league challenge.

The Panthers now own a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Newark Catholic for a Licking County challenge on Thursday, April 11. Licking Valley will battle a Green Wave squad coming off a 10-7 league win over Licking Heights (Pataskala, OH). The Green Wave record now stands at 4-4.

With the loss, Northridge falls to 2-6 on the campaign. The Vikings host Johnstown-Monroe (Johnstown, OH) to battle the Johnnies in a Licking County challenge on Thursday, April 11. The Johnnies enter the challenge with a record of 1-3. Johnstown-Monroe lost 17-0 in their recent league challenge against Watkins Memorial (Pataskala, OH)
