The Wheaton North Falcons softball team scored 14 runs and limited the visiting Metea Valley Mustangs to 5 in the Falcons non-league triumph on Wednesday.

With the triumph, Wheaton North moves its record to 9-2 on the year. The Falcons host St. Charles North (St. Charles, IL) to clash with the North Stars in a DuKane game on Friday, April 12. The North Stars come into the game with a record of 3-0. St. Charles North won 5-1 in their recent non-league game against Lincoln-Way East (Frankfort, IL)

In their next game, the Mustangs clash with the Neuqua Valley Wildcats (Naperville, IL) in a DuPage Valley game, on Thursday, April 11. Metea Valley will attempt to move on its 4-6 season record. The Wildcats come into the game with a 3-5 record after their 8-1 non-league loss to Marist (Chicago, IL).
