The Sandwich Indians softball team scored 8 runs and limited the visiting Streator Bulldogs to 5 in the Indians non-league triumph on Wednesday.

With the triumph, Sandwich improves its record to 6-2 on the year. The Indians host Woodstock (Woodstock, IL) to clash with the Blue Streaks in a Kishwaukee River game on Thursday, April 11. The Blue Streaks come into the game with a record of 0-6. Woodstock lost 21-3 in their recent league game against Plano (Plano, IL)

In their next game, the Bulldogs clash with the Reed-Custer Comets (Braidwood, IL) in a Illinois Central Eight game, on Friday, April 12. Streator will attempt to improve on its 3-8 season record. The Comets come into the game with a 8-3 record after their 1-0 non-league win over Woodland (Streator, IL).
