The crowd at Thursday's non-league battle between the Wheelersburg Pirates (Wheelersburg, OH) and the visiting Adena Warriors (Frankfort, OH), saw Wheelersburg's baseball team beat Adena by a margin of 7-0.

The Pirates (4-2) will now prepare for their battle against Central Crossing (Grove City, OH). The Comets enter the non-league battle with a 1-6 record. In their last battle, Central Crossing was overwhelmed by Lincoln (Gahanna, OH), 6-2, in a league battle.

Next, the Warriors face the Paint Valley Bearcats (Bainbridge, OH) in a Scioto Valley battle, on Friday, April 11. Adena will attempt to improve on its 0-6 season record. The Bearcats enter the battle with a 0-2 record after their 4-0 league loss to Westfall (Williamsport, OH).
