The Max S. Hayes Lakers baseball team scored 17 runs and held the host Bard Early College Raptors to 3 in the Lakers league win on Thursday.
The Lakers now hold a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to John F. Kennedy for a Cleveland Senate test on Tuesday, April 15. Max S. Hayes will play a Fighting Eagles team coming off a 24-7 league win over John Adams (Cleveland, OH). The Fighting Eagles record now stands at 1-1.
With the defeat, Bard Early College drops to 2-3 on the year. The Raptors travel to Young (Cleveland, OH) to play the Warriors in a Cleveland Senate test on Friday, April 11. The Warriors go into the test with a record of 0-3.
