The Pana Panthers baseball team scored 10 runs and held the visiting Brownstown/St. Elmo Eagles to 2 in the Panthers non-league win on Thursday.
The Panthers now hold a 4-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Litchfield for a South Central test on Friday, April 11. Pana will play a Purple Panthers team coming off a 7-2 non-league win over Jersey (Jerseyville, IL). The Purple Panthers record now stands at 10-4.
With the defeat, Brownstown/St. Elmo drops to 3-6 on the year. The Eagles travel to Wayne City (Wayne City, IL) to play the Indians in a non-league test on Saturday, April 12. The Indians go into the test with a record of 2-7. Wayne City won 10-2 in their recent league test against Grayville (Grayville, IL)
