The Covenant Christian Academy Lions (Houma, LA) baseball trounced the visiting Fisher Gators (Lafitte, LA), 16-1 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
The Lions now own a 33-0 record. They take the field next when they host St. Charles Catholic for a non-league challenge on Friday, April 11. Covenant Christian Academy will clash with a Comets team coming off a 2-1 league win over Archbishop Shaw (Marrero, LA). The Comets record now stands at 20-10.
With the defeat, Fisher drops to 16-9 on the year. The Gators host Maurepas (Maurepas, LA) to clash with the Wolves in a non-league challenge on Friday, April 11. The Wolves go into the challenge with a record of 11-13. Maurepas lost 11-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Covington (Covington, LA)
