The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Southside Panthers (Selma, AL) and the visiting Hatch Bobcats (Uniontown, AL), saw Southside's baseball squad gain a win over Hatch by a tally of 10-6.

Next up, the Panthers encounter the Dallas County Hornets (Plantersville, AL) in a 3A Area 4 bout, on Saturday, April 12. Southside will attempt to upgrade on its 6-3 season record. The Hornets enter the bout with a 3-10 record after their 12-8 non-league loss to Southside (Selma, AL).

The Bobcats (1-8) will now prepare for their bout against Greensboro (Greensboro, AL). The Raiders enter the non-league bout with a 2-5 record.
