The crowd at Thursday's non-league battle between the Mora Mustangs (Mora, MN) and the visiting Moose Lake/Willow River Rebels (Moose Lake, MN), saw Mora's baseball team get by Moose Lake/Willow River by a tally of 3-2.
The Mustangs (2-0) will now prepare for their battle against Aitkin (Aitkin, MN). The Gobblers enter the non-league battle with a 1-0 record. In their last battle, Aitkin held off Rush City (Rush City, MN), 15-7, in a league battle.
Next, the Rebels face the McGregor Mercuries (McGregor, MN) in a non-league battle, on Friday, April 11. Moose Lake/Willow River will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Mercuries enter the battle with a 0-1 record after their 10-0 non-league loss to Hinckley-Finlayson (Hinckley, MN).
