In Thursday's non-league bout, the Noble Bears (Noble, OK) baseball squad overwhelmed the host Shawnee Wolves (Shawnee, OK), by a tally of 8-0.
Next up, the Bears encounter the El Reno Indians (El Reno, OK) in a 5A District 1 bout, on Monday, April 14. Noble will attempt to upgrade on its 15-6 season record. The Indians enter the bout with a 13-5 record after their 9-1 non-league loss to Elgin (Elgin, OK).
The Wolves (5-18) will now prepare for their bout against MacArthur (Lawton, OK). The Highlanders enter the non-league bout with a 14-7 record. In their last bout, MacArthur was overwhelmed by Duncan (Duncan, OK), 15-0, in a league bout.
