In Thursday's non-league game, the host Southbridge Pioneers baseball team scored a close 12-10 win over the North Polar Bears.
The Pioneers (2-1) will now prepare for their game against Uxbridge (Uxbridge, MA). The Spartans go into the non-league game with a 5-1 record. In their last game, Uxbridge nudged Bartlett (Webster, MA), 9-2, in a league game.
Next, the Polar Bears play the Burncoat Patriots (Worcester, MA) in a Inner City game, on Friday, April 11. North will attempt to improve on its 0-4 season record. The Patriots go into the game with a 0-1 record after their 11-1 league loss to Doherty Memorial (Worcester, MA).
