In Thursday's non-league game, the visiting Oak Grove Classical Academy Owls baseball team scored a close 10-7 victory over the Pecos Panthers.
The Owls (2-6) will now prepare for their game against Navajo Pine (Navajo, NM). The Warriors enter the 2A District 1/2 game with a 1-7 record. In their last match, Navajo Pine by Thoreau (Thoreau, NM), 10-6, in a non-league match.
The Panthers now possess a 5-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Tucumcari for a 2A District 6 match on Saturday, April 12. Pecos will battle a Rattlers squad coming off a 16-15 non-league win over Texico (Texico, NM). The Rattlers record now stands at 4-6.
