The Washington County Golden Hawks nipped the host Pierce County Bears baseball squad by a score of 1-0 in Thursday's non-league outing.
Next up, the Golden Hawks battle the Academy for Classical Education Gryphons (Macon, GA) in a A D1 Region 2 outing, on Tuesday, April 15. Washington County will attempt to advance on its 20-6 season record. The Gryphons come into the outing with a 16-10 record after their 11-0 non-league loss to Baconton Charter (Baconton, GA).
