The crowd at Thursday's non-league battle between the Washington Warriors (Washington, OK) and the visiting Woodward Boomers (Woodward, OK), saw Washington's baseball team get by Woodward by a tally of 1-0.
The Warriors (13-6) will now prepare for their battle against Calumet (Calumet, OK). The Chieftains enter the non-league battle with a 6-3 record. In their last battle, Calumet was tipped by Fort Cobb-Broxton (Fort Cobb, OK), 4-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Boomers face the Bishop McGuinness Fighting Irish (Oklahoma City, OK) in a 4A District 4 battle, on Tuesday, April 15. Woodward will attempt to upgrade on its 7-13 season record.
