In Thursday's non-league challenge, the visiting Lyons Lions volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Downers Grove South Mustangs.
The Lions (9-1) will now prepare for their challenge against York (Elmhurst, IL). The Dukes come into the West Suburban challenge with a 12-3 record. In their last challenge, York beat Niles West (Skokie, IL), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Mustangs meet the Glenbard North Panthers (Carol Stream, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, April 12. Downers Grove South will attempt to upgrade on its 4-6 season record.
