Fans at Thursday's league contest between the Hancock Eagles (Chicago, IL) and the host Kennedy Crusaders (Chicago, IL), observed Hancock's volleyball team hold off Kennedy by a count of 2-1.

The Eagles (5-4) will now prepare for their contest against Oak Lawn (Oak Lawn, IL). The Spartans come into the non-league bout with a 7-5 record. In their last bout, Oak Lawn nipped Thornton Fractional North/Thornton Fractional South (Calumet City, IL), 2-1, in a league bout.

With the loss, Kennedy drops to 7-5 on the campaign. The Crusaders travel to Northside (Chicago, IL) to clash with the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Saturday, April 12. The Mustangs come into the bout with a record of 0-2. Northside lost 2-0 in their recent league bout against Von Steuben (Chicago, IL)
