The Brother Rice Crusaders baseball team scored 9 runs and held the host Lyons Lions to 6 in the Crusaders non-league win on Thursday.

The Crusaders now hold a 12-0 record. They take the field next when they host St. Francis for a non-league test on Friday, April 11. Brother Rice will play a Spartans team coming off a 26-3 non-league win over Glenbard West (Glen Ellyn, IL). The Spartans record now stands at 1-0.

With the defeat, Lyons drops to 1-1 on the year. The Lions host St. Rita (Chicago, IL) to play the Mustangs in a non-league test on Saturday, April 12. The Mustangs go into the test with a record of 1-1. St. Rita won 10-2 in their recent non-league test against Fenwick (Oak Park, IL)
