In Thursday's non-league bout, the Volcano Vista Hawks (Albuquerque, NM) baseball squad the visiting Rio Grande Ravens (Albuquerque, NM), by a tally of 9-5.
Next up, the Hawks encounter the Sandia Matadors (Albuquerque, NM) in a non-league bout, on Monday, April 14. Volcano Vista will attempt to upgrade on its 4-5 season record. The Matadors enter the bout with a 3-3 record after their 7-6 non-league loss to Cleveland (Rio Rancho, NM).
The Ravens (1-7) will now prepare for their bout against Valencia (Los Lunas, NM). The Jaguars enter the non-league bout with a 4-6 record. In their last bout, Valencia was overwhelmed by Valley (Albuquerque, NM), 20-9, in a non-league bout.
