The York Dukes (Elmhurst, IL) lacrosse routed the visiting Downers Grove North Trojans (Downers Grove, IL), 8-1 in Thursday's league outing.
The Dukes now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Hersey for a non-league outing on Wednesday, April 16.
With the loss, Downers Grove North falls to 2-2 on the year. The Trojans host Metea Valley (Aurora, IL) to face the Mustangs in a non-league outing on Friday, April 11.
