Fans at Thursday's non-league test between the Highland Hornets (Medina, OH) and the visiting Laurel Gators (Shaker Heights, OH), witnessed Highland's lacrosse squad top Laurel by a count of 16-7.

The Hornets (5-2) will now prepare for their test against Padua Franciscan (Parma, OH). The Bruins enter the non-league test with a 1-2 record. In their last test, Padua Franciscan was overwhelmed by Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy (Cuyahoga Falls, OH), 11-3, in a league test.

Next, the Gators battle the Cardinal Mooney Cardinals (Youngstown, OH) in a Region 6 test, on Friday, April 11. Laurel will attempt to move on its 1-3 season record. The Cardinals enter the test with a 0-5 record after their 13-8 league loss to Poland Seminary (Poland, OH).
