In Thursday's non-league test, the Westfield Blue Devils (Westfield, NJ) lacrosse team overwhelmed the host Sparta Spartans (Sparta, NJ), by a count of 14-5.

Next up, the Blue Devils confront the Mount St. Mary Academy Lions (Watchung, NJ) in a non-league match, on Saturday, April 12. Westfield will attempt to improve on its 4-1 season record. The Lions come into the match with a 3-2 record after their 8-7 non-league loss to Montgomery (Skillman, NJ).

The Spartans (2-2) will now prepare for their match against Phillipsburg (Phillipsburg, NJ). The Stateliners come into the non-league match with a 0-5 record. In their last match, Phillipsburg was overwhelmed by Watchung Hills Regional (Warren, NJ), 16-7, in a non-league match.
