In Thursday's non-league outing, the host Northeastern Eagles soccer squad scored a tight 5-2 victory over the Cape Hatteras Hurricanes.
The Eagles (5-8) will now prepare for their outing against Hertford County (Ahoskie, NC). The Bears go into the Northeastern Coastal 2A/3A outing with a 0-8 record. In their last outing, Hertford County by Currituck County (Barco, NC), 15-1, in a league outing.
Next up, the Hurricanes confront the Northeast Academy For Aerospace and Advanced Tech Griffins (Elizabeth City, NC) in a non-league outing, on Tuesday, April 15. Cape Hatteras will attempt to improve on its 0-6 season record.
