Fans at Thursday's league battle between the Severance Silver Knights (Severance, CO) and the host Wellington Eagles (Wellington, CO), saw Severance's soccer squad hold off Wellington by a count of 2-1.

The Silver Knights (5-2) will now prepare for their battle against Timnath (Timnath, CO). The Cubs enter the 4A/3A Longs Peak battle with a 4-4 record. In their last battle, Timnath was edged by Jefferson Academy (Broomfield, CO), 2-1, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Eagles battle the Northridge Grizzlies (Greeley, CO) in a 4A/3A Longs Peak battle, on Tuesday, April 15. Wellington will attempt to upgrade on its 0-7 season record. The Grizzlies enter the battle with a 4-4 record after their 12-2 non-league loss to Mead (Longmont, CO).
