Fans at Thursday's league test between the Meridian Mustangs (Falls Church, VA) and the host Brentsville District Tigers (Nokesville, VA), witnessed Meridian's lacrosse squad achieve victory over Brentsville District by a count of 9-3.
The Mustangs (4-2) will now prepare for their test against Western Albemarle (Crozet, VA). The Warriors enter the non-league test with a 2-1 record. In their last match, Western Albemarle was overwhelmed by Salem (Salem, VA), 10-2, in a non-league match.
The Tigers (7-1) will now prepare for their match against Lightridge (Aldie, VA). The Bolts enter the non-league match with a 3-5 record. In their last match, Lightridge was overwhelmed by Loudoun County (Leesburg, VA), 18-8, in a non-league match.
