Pennsylvania High School Lacrosse - Butler overwhelms Hempfield Area

Fans at Thursday's non-league test between the Butler Golden Tornado (Butler, PA) and the visiting Hempfield Area Spartans (Greensburg, PA), witnessed Butler's lacrosse squad achieve victory over Hempfield Area by a count of 8-3.
The Golden Tornado (4-6) will now prepare for their test against North Hills (Pittsburgh, PA). The Indians enter the WPIAL 3A 2 test with a 4-6 record. In their last test, North Hills nipped Norwin (North Huntingdon, PA), 10-9, in a non-league test.
Next, the Spartans battle the Central Catholic Vikings (Pittsburgh, PA) in a WPIAL 3A 1 test, on Tuesday, April 15. Hempfield Area will attempt to move on its 3-4 season record. The Vikings enter the test with a 4-5 record after their 7-5 non-league loss to Fox Chapel (Pittsburgh, PA).
