In Thursday's non-league challenge, the host New Providence Pioneers lacrosse squad scored a tight 7-6 triumph over the Glen Ridge Ridgers.

The Pioneers (3-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Montclair Kimberley Academy (Montclair, NJ). The Cougars go into the Bianchi challenge with a 3-1 record. In their last challenge, Montclair Kimberley Academy held off Millburn (Millburn, NJ), 10-8, in a league challenge.

Next, the Ridgers clash with the Montclair Mounties (Montclair, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, April 12. Glen Ridge will attempt to better on its 1-3 season record. The Mounties go into the challenge with a 1-3 record after their 13-5 league loss to Westfield (Westfield, NJ).
