Springfield Cougars (Springfield, PA) backers exited the stadium satisfied Thursday as they saw their lacrosse team top the visiting Harriton Rams (Rosemont, PA), 18-2 in a league game.
With the victory, Springfield improves its record to 8-1 on the season. The Cougars host St. Joseph's Prep (Philadelphia, PA) to play the Hawks in a non-league game on Saturday, April 12. The Hawks come into the game with a record of 8-0. St. Joseph's Prep won 19-2 in their recent league game against Archbishop Carroll (Radnor, PA)
The Rams now have a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Frontier for a non-league game on Monday, April 14. Harriton will play a Falcons team coming off a 15-4 non-league win over Lancaster (Lancaster, NY). The Falcons record now stands at 4-2.

The Cougars took care of business with ease against Harriton High School on Senior Night! 5 different goal scores helped Springfield get off to a 8-0 lead at the end of the 1st. They continued to pour it on in the 2nd, adding on 6 more goals. 12 of Springfields 18 Goals on the evening came from Seniors on a night that was all about them and their time with Springfield Lacrosse. (David Keller, Tyler Henderson, Patrick Flaherty, Evan DiBlasi, Jack Franks, Nate Romano, and Jack Kelly) The Cougars look to do something special in these outstanding players final year with the team!
