In Thursday's non-league challenge, the host Kalamazoo Central Maroon Giants lacrosse squad scored a good 21-7 triumph over the Pennfield Panthers.

The Maroon Giants (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Lakeview (Battle Creek, MI). The Spartans go into the non-league challenge with a 1-5 record. In their last challenge, Lakeview was overwhelmed by Stoney Creek (Rochester Hills, MI), 17-8, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Panthers clash with the St. Johns Redwings (St. Johns, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, April 14. Pennfield will attempt to better on its 0-4 season record. The Redwings go into the challenge with a 1-4 record after their 11-1 non-league loss to Central (Bay City, MI).
