In Thursday's non-league contest, the visiting Winchester Thurston lacrosse squad scored a tight 4-2 triumph over the West Allegheny Indians.
The (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Sewickley Academy (Sewickley, PA). The go into the WPIAL 2A 2 contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Sewickley Academy held off The Linsly School (Wheeling, WV), 11-5, in a non-league contest.
Next, the Indians meet the Beaver Bobcats (Beaver, PA) in a non-league contest, on Monday, April 14. West Allegheny will attempt to better on its 0-7 season record.
