The McMinn County Cherokees edged the host East Hamilton Hurricanes soccer team by a tally of 1-0 in Thursday's non-league game.
Next, the Cherokees face the Ooltewah Owls (Ooltewah, TN) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, April 15. McMinn County will attempt to advance on its 3-7 season record. The Owls enter the game with a 2-6 record after their 5-1 league loss to Howard Tech (Chattanooga, TN).
The Hurricanes (3-6) will now prepare for their game against Walker Valley (Cleveland, TN). The Mustangs enter the non-league game with a 6-2 record. In their last game, Walker Valley held off Rhea County (Evensville, TN), 4-2, in a league game.
