The McMinn Central Chargers edged the host Rockwood Tigers soccer team by a tally of 3-2 in Thursday's non-league game.
Next, the Chargers face the Chattanooga School for the Liberal Arts Eagles (Chattanooga, TN) in a A District 3 game, on Tuesday, April 15. McMinn Central will attempt to advance on its 4-4 season record. The Eagles enter the game with a 5-5 record after their 3-0 league win over Sweetwater (Sweetwater, TN).
The Tigers (2-8) will now prepare for their game against Eagleton College & Career Academy (Maryville, TN). The Royals enter the game with a 6-2 record. In their last game, Eagleton College & Career Academy was nipped by South-Doyle (Knoxville, TN), 9-0, in a non-league game.
