The South-Doyle Cherokees smashed the visiting Sequoyah Chiefs soccer team by a tally of 9-0 in Thursday's league game.
Next, the Cherokees face the Cocke County Fighting Cocks (Newport, TN) in a non-league game, on Monday, April 14. South-Doyle will attempt to advance on its 7-1 season record. The Fighting Cocks enter the game with a 5-4 record after their 6-1 league win over Seymour (Seymour, TN).
The Chiefs (2-6) will now prepare for their game against Loudon (Loudon, TN). The Redskins enter the AA District 5 game with a 2-2 record. In their last game, Loudon gained a win over Lenoir City (Lenoir City, TN), 2-0, in a league game.
