The Washington-Liberty Generals (Arlington, VA) soccer nipped the host South Lakes Seahawks (Reston, VA), 2-1 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
The Generals now hold a 6-2 record. They play next when they host George C. Marshall for a Liberty challenge on Tuesday, April 22. Washington-Liberty will encounter a Statesmen squad coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Centreville (Clifton, VA). The Statesmen record now stands at 2-4.
With the loss, South Lakes moves to 2-5 on the year. The Seahawks host Oakton (Vienna, VA) to encounter the Cougars in a Concorde challenge on Thursday, April 24. The Cougars go into the challenge with a record of 4-2.
