Kentucky High School Softball - Bishop Brossart edges Mason County

In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting Bishop Brossart Mustangs softball team scored a tight 2-0 win over the Mason County Royals.
The Mustangs (10-2) will now prepare for their match against Bracken County (Brooksville, KY). The Polar Bears come into the non-league match with a 7-5 record. In their last match, Bracken County by Campbell County (Alexandria, KY), 28-10, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Royals battle the Lewis County Lions (Vanceburg, KY) in a non-league match, on Saturday, April 12. Mason County will attempt to better on its 4-7 season record. The Lions come into the match with a 7-6 record after their 9-1 league loss to Greenup County (Greenup, KY).
