The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the East Poinsett County Warriors (Lepanto, AR) and the host Buffalo Island Central Mustangs (Monette, AR), observed East Poinsett County's softball team prevail over Buffalo Island Central by a tally of 14-1.

The Warriors (12-3) will now prepare for their bout against Piggott (Piggott, AR). The Mohawks go into the 2A Region 3 bout with a 3-5 record. In their last bout, Piggott knocked off Marmaduke (Marmaduke, AR), 17-1, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Mustangs clash with the Corning Bobcats (Corning, AR) in a 2A Region 3 bout, on Monday, April 14. Buffalo Island Central will attempt to advance on its 7-4 season record. The Bobcats go into the bout with a 0-8 record after their 16-0 league loss to Rector (Rector, AR).
