The Routt Catholic Rockets softball squad (Jacksonville, IL), was routed 16-0 in Thursday's league contest with the visiting Calhoun Warriors (Hardin, IL)

With the triumph, Calhoun improves its record to 9-2 on the year. The Warriors host Springfield (Springfield, IL) to face the Senators in a non-league contest on Friday, April 11. The Senators go into the test with a record of 7-1. Springfield won 6-2 in their recent league test against Normal University (Normal, IL)

The Rockets (0-4) will now prepare for their test against Greenfield/Northwestern (Greenfield, IL). The Tigers go into the Western Illinois Valley - South test with a 4-8 record. In their last test, Greenfield/Northwestern prevailed over North Greene (White Hall, IL), 5-3, in a league test.
