In Thursday's non-league match, the host St. Catherine's Saints softball team scored a tight 2-0 victory over the Central Virginia Homeschool Athletic Association Patriots.
The Saints (11-1) will now prepare for their match against St. Margaret's (Tappahannock, VA). The Scotties go into the League of Independent Schools match with a 0-1 record. In their last match, St. Margaret's by Collegiate (Richmond, VA), 21-2, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Patriots battle the Woodson Cavaliers (Fairfax, VA) in a non-league match, on Monday, April 14. Central Virginia Homeschool Athletic Association will attempt to better on its 7-4 season record. The Cavaliers go into the match with a 1-8 record after their 7-4 league win over Robinson (Fairfax, VA).
