In Thursday's non-league test, the Mt. Carmel Golden Aces (Mt. Carmel, IL) softball squad got by the visiting Cisne Runnin' Lions (Cisne, IL), by a tally of 1-0.
Next, the Golden Aces clash with the Paris Tigers (Paris, IL) in a Little Illini test, on Monday, April 14. Mt. Carmel will attempt to advance on its 6-1 season record. The Tigers go into the test with a 6-7 record after their 16-1 non-league loss to Martinsville (Martinsville, IN).
The Runnin' Lions (0-6) will now prepare for their test against Waltonville (Waltonville, IL). The Spartans go into the test with a 6-5 record.
