Colonie Central Wolfpack (Albany, NY) backers left the game pleased Thursday as they saw their softball squad thwart the host Queensbury Spartans (Queensbury, NY), 10-1 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Colonie Central advances its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Wolfpack host Columbia (East Greenbush, NY) to meet the Blue Devils in a Section 2 Suburban - Blue test on Monday, April 14. The Blue Devils go into the test with a record of 1-2. Columbia lost 3-2 in their recent non-league test against Shenendehowa (Clifton Park, NY)

The Spartans (1-4) will now prepare for their test against Broadalbin-Perth (Broadalbin, NY). The Patriots go into the Section 2 Foothills test with a 2-1 record. In their last test, Broadalbin-Perth was routed by South Glens Falls (South Glens Falls, NY), 15-2, in a league test.
