The Garnet Valley Jaguars softball squad (Glen Mills, PA), 10-8 in Thursday's league contest with the host Marple Newtown Fightin' Tigers (Newtown Square, PA)

With the triumph, Marple Newtown improves its record to 7-0 on the year. The Fightin' Tigers host Upper Darby (Drexel Hill, PA) to face the Royals in a Central contest on Monday, April 14. The Royals enter the contest with a record of 1-9. Upper Darby lost 7-2 in their recent league contest against Springfield (Springfield, PA)

The Jaguars now hold a 6-5 record. They play next when they travel to Penncrest for a Central contest on Monday, April 14.
